Homework for 12/9 and 12/10

 GOOD MORNING PARENTS!

You should already have the work pages for today, and perhaps for tomorrow.  In addition to these, please work on sight words.  Your student should know these without having to think about what they are.  That is our goal.  Also, please practice simple addition facts of the 1's, 2's, and 3's.

For Tuesday:

1.  Practice the sequencing of months with your child, such as "What comes after June?" or "What comes before April?".  These as well as the days of the week are still not clearly visualized by each student.

2.  Practice words ending in "ck"  i.e., truck, trick, sock, Help your child to recognize the sound when they see the letters.

3.  Talk about the term "half" Demonstrate using paper, food, objects, etc.

4.  Sight words-------Please go over each of the 50 words, make a list of the words your child knows without hesitation.  If there is any hesitation, there needs to be more practice for that word.  Please send the list to me so we can work on those specific words more.  Also keep a list for your own practicing.

5.  Letters and Sounds, page 103, 104, if you have these with your Monday work.

6.  Don't forget to keep up with your reading logs.  Today is a great day for reading!!!

Stay warm and safe, see you all on Wednesday!
