I'm so blessed whenever I have the opportunity to work alongside them as I did today. They are such servants and love our school. They made quick work of cleaning our facilities this morning, and they each did so with a smile on their face. Well done, parents! You are raising some pretty incredible young people. She has reached out to me with a special invitation for our high school students, their parents, and teachers. She is offering to give a tour of Whiteman Air Force Base which would include a tour of the flight line. We are hoping to tour after our clean up is finished on May 11th. It will take Kasey at least 60 days to get clearance for all that plan to be in attendance. As a result, the deadline to sign up for this field trip will be Friday, March 9th. Hot Lunch Forms - Due Today ACS School Carnival - Saturday, January 27th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the ROC gym - Join us for an evening full of family friendly fun with a bounce house, cake walk, pie-in-the face contest, and much more at our annual school carnival. Dress up in your favorite Hawaiian accessories for a warming experience in the middle of winter! 3rd Quarter Mid-term Cutoff - January 31st - mid-terms should go home either Friday, Feb. 2 or Monday, Feb. 5 Girls Basketball Tournament - February 9th & 10th in St. Louis - Each student that will be going to this tournament is responsible for getting all of their homework before they leave. Homework is due when they return to school. School Board Meeting - February 12th @ 6:30 pm No School - Monday, February 19th - No homework will be given for the 19th, but homework will be given for the 20th. Winter Sports Award Banquet - Monday, February 26th @ 6:00 pm in the ROC - Each family in attendance is asked to bring a dessert to share - Plan to come and help us celebrate the accomplishments of our athletes.
