he will never let the righteous be shaken.&amp;nbsp; Psalms 55:12 NIV&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;"&gt;Good afternoon, Mustang families!&amp;nbsp; The end of the school year has been unusual for sure.&amp;nbsp; Each of our students finished the school year well, despite the challenges of a pandemic.&amp;nbsp; I am proud of each of our students for persevering!!!&amp;nbsp; I ask that each of you continue to keep ACS in your prayers over the summer.&amp;nbsp; It is too soon to know what the fall will look like with the pandemic.&amp;nbsp; However, we do know that God will remain faithful to our school.&amp;nbsp; Pray for incoming staff, students, and families, as well as, the current staff, students, and families.&amp;nbsp; I pray that each of you are doing well!&amp;nbsp; These are certainly curious times that we find ourselves.&amp;nbsp; This is a time for the Church to rise up and share our light and our love for all of God's people!&amp;nbsp; Beauty can still be found in these difficult times.&amp;nbsp; Comfort can be found in knowing that we are all in this together, even though we are apart!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;"&gt;I am hopeful that each family has been able to settle into a new "normal" this week.&amp;nbsp; I am thankful that ACS has teachers who work tirelessly for our students, even from home.&amp;nbsp; I am also thankful and proud of each of our students for working so hard to continue their learning and school work from home.&amp;nbsp; Thank you to all of the parents helping them to continue to be successful!&amp;nbsp; As my own family adjusted to working and learning from home, I was tempted to try to make our daily routine look like that of others.&amp;nbsp; God quickly reminded me that there are lots of ways to do home school.&amp;nbsp; Thankfully, we can let the pressures that we put upon ourselves go, and make home school what it needs to be for our family.&amp;nbsp; I hope each of your families are able to do the same.&amp;nbsp; Rest assured, God is blessing this time that you have to slow down and be with your children.&amp;nbsp; Continue to draw near to Him, not just in the difficult moments, but in all moments.&amp;nbsp; Our teachers have assigned plenty of learning assignments, however, Sedalia 200 school district has added some grade specific Flexible Learning Activities to their website for grades kindergarten-8th if you are interested in more learning ideas in the areas of reading and writing, math, or social/emotional. Rather than having a Christmas program with rehearsals, costumes, etc., we are having an Old Fashioned Christmas Get Together!&amp;nbsp; We will come together for a relaxing time of song and fellowship.&amp;nbsp; We will gather together in the Sanctuary for a time of singing, followed by a time of fellowship over hot cocoa, cider, and cookies in the Awana Room.&amp;nbsp; We will be singing some of the students' favorite Christmas carols and e&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:13.44px;"&gt;veryone will have the opportunity to decorate a sugar cookie.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:13.44px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; Special thanks to Family Club for providing the refreshments for the evening.&amp;nbsp; Feel free to wear your favorite Christmas attire or your coziest pajamas.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family:Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica;font-size:13.44px;text-align:justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Christmas Party Day: December 20 from 8:10 to 11:30 am - &lt;/b&gt;This will be a fun day of fellowship with classmates, teachers, and room parents.&amp;nbsp; All parents are invited to join us!&amp;nbsp; Students will play games, do crafts, watch a movie, eat snacks, and exchange Christmas gifts.&amp;nbsp; Following clean up, school will dismiss at 11:30 am that day.&amp;nbsp;
