6th Grade

Spelling:  Monday - List 23, page 90

              Wednesday - page 91

              Friday - Page 93.( I will email the dictionary pages since I have the books)

Grammar:  Monday - page 265 - Do only instruction (1); page 266

                 Wednesday - Page 267-268 - No diagramming.  We would have done    

                              this together in class, so you can do it together with someone!

                 Friday - Test 10 review.  I will be emailing a practice test.  The final test

                              will be next Wednesday.

 

 

Good morning, everyone.  I hope you are all doing well!  I miss your faces terribly and can’t wait until we can go back to school!  I want to thank you all for continuing to work so diligently.  I’m going to see about setting up a Zoom account so we can have some classes together this week.  I am not a “techy” person, so I’ll let you know how that goes.  Once again, if you have any questions or problems, please call or text me anytime. 

Here is the work for the rest of this week. You are all doing a great job!  Please continue to send pictures of all of your completed work as we go.  Please call or text me with any questions or struggles that you may have, and I will do all I can to make this easier on you and less stressful for your children!  God bless you all!

*** 7th, 8th, and 9th grade spelling schedule is as follows:  Lists are given on Monday.  We usually go over each word and its definition in class, and homework is to write them twice.  All classes take a pretest on Wednesday.  If they get a 100, they don’t have to take the spelling portion on Friday.  If they do not get a 100, they have to write the words they misspelled 10x and take it on Friday.  I will leave it for you to decide if you want to have a pretest, or just have them study and take the final test. ***

You can do it if you want to, but you do not have to. If you do, be sure                                                      to share it with me!

 

 7th Grade Grammar

6th Grade

Spelling -  Wednesday/Thursday - Write words two times, and study for the test on Friday.                                                    Friday - Test on List 21

Grammar -  Wednesday/Thursday - Quiz 13 & 14;  245-246 Diagram the evens.                                                                      Friday - Watch School House Rock “Conjunction Junction” and “Interjections”

                  ** We will be having a test next Wednesday. I’ll get the review to you by Friday.

8th grade - You both got 100 on the spelling pretest - 👍🏼 - so there is only the grammar test to take!  I’ll send it                      as soon as I have an address!

 

7th grade - The following students need to take the spelling test: Makenzie, Matthew, and Sylarra. The only                          assignment for today is the grammar test, and I’ll send it as soon as I have the email address to                          which it should be sent. 

6th grade - Please give your student a spelling test on List 20.                                            

                  Grammar - Check pages 240 & 241.  Do Think A and Go Back on page 242. 

9th grade - Check pages 291 - 293. Please send me an email address to send a copy of the test review.                                Go over the test review and pages noted, and be ready for the test on Monday.
