Hello my dear parents and students. I hope you are all well and staying snug at home. I miss you and I'm sure we can make the time fly by. Not only can you do your homework but you can always read for enjoyment. As you may know, I would recommend Agatha Christie and Doyle but we have read some very good authors in our reading and literature classes (just a thought).

The setting (the ocean tide coming in) is used to help portray the theme--the tides are strong, definite and to be feared; yet the "ocean is not free"--that same tide must return to sea and free the shores for happier pursuits.
