    Math:Take the test for today's date that will be in the envelope sent home. Do p.292 and 294.  P. 292 is a teacher instruction page.  I will text you a picture of the teacher instructions.
     
    Spelling: Take the test if you did not score 100% on Wednesday.  Isaiah scored 100% and does not need to retake.  Madeline and Brynnley were not in class so I'm not sure about them yet.
     
    Just Write: p.  68-70
     
    Reading: See Mrs. Greer's blog
     
    Phonics & Language: p.283-284

    Math: p.237-239 and p.241.  Do not do p. 240.  We will do it in class on Friday.
     
    Spelling: Do p.35.  Parents, please give the spelling pretest for the 10 words on p.34.  If they miss any, they will need to study for the test on Friday.
     
    Handwriting: p.177-180. 
     
    Spectrum Writing: p.30-31.
     
    Reading: Read p. 36-40 and do p.94&b and read p. 41-45 and do p.95&b. Remind them that "Bossy R" changes the vowel sound.
     
    Phonics: p.177-180
     
    Phonics & English: p.187-190.

    Math p. 220-223 and p. 226.  We will do 224-225 in class.  Cross of the teacher's part #4 on p. 220.  Cross off the orange box at the bottom of p. 221.  Parents, please make sure that they understand "Borrowing from the thousands" on p. 222. (This is new-they have only done the hundreds so far.)  Also, M and D are new to them in Roman numerals.  Please let them know that D=500 and M=1,000.
     
    Spelling: Do p. 69.  Parents, please give the spelling pretest for the 20 words on p. 66. If they miss any, they will need to study for the test on Friday.
     
    Just Write: p. 20-21.  Make sure the understand the concept of "sequence" in story writing.
     
    Handwriting: Copy p. 87 neatly in cursive.
     
     
    Reading: Please see Mrs. Greer's blog for Wednesday homework. Thurs.: Read p. 170-174.  Do workbook p. 253-254.
     
    Phonics and Language: 209-214. Cross off dictation.  Make sure that they understand "past tense verbs" on p. 209.  This is a new concept for them.

    Math p. 190-192

    Spelling Take spelling test unless you received 100% on your test on Wednesday.  I will text each of you individually to let you know if your student should take the test today. 

    Handwriting  p. 82 on paper in cursive

     Reading - check Mrs. Greer's blog

    Phonics and Language  p. 181-182.  (Parents, the commas rule on p. 181 is new for them.  Please check to make sure that they understand the concept.)

    Journal  You can choose what you would like to journal about.  At least 5 sentences.

    Math: p.278-280

    Reading: Read p.33-41. Do p.118 and 119 (both sides).  Remind them that you always use a capital letter at the beginning of a name. A proper noun is the name of a specific person, place, thing, or animal. (Wal-Mart, Robert, Spot, etc.)

    Journal: Journal 2 sentences using a proper noun in each sentence. 

    Spelling: Do p.46.  Write spelling words from p.46  3 times each.

    Phonics: p.225-228

    Phonics and English: p.235-238

    Spectrum Writing: p.44-47

    Math: 260-264.  Cross off #4 on p. 264.  Parents, the "greater than" and "less than" signs on p.260 are pretty new to them so they may need some help with this and using check marks on p. 262.

     

    Reading: Read p. 96-102.  Do p. 109-110 (both sides)

     

    Spelling: Do p.43. Parents, please give the pretest.  If they do not get 100% on the pretest, they will need to study for the test on Friday.
