Welcome Back!! We are thrilled to begin another great school year and feel so blessed to have each and every student that God saw fit to make a member of our ACS family. I pray that this school year will bless you, and that each student will grow in their love for Christ. Mrs. Furrey and I have committed to pray over our staff and students, and we would love to pray for the needs of our families as well. If you have anything you would like us to pray about, please feel free to email or call either Mrs. Furrey or myself. We consider it a great honor to bring the concerns of our families before the Almighty God.
Kick off forms - Turn in signed forms by Monday
Office Supplies - If you have not brought in your copy paper, markers, Anywhere spray, etc...please label them with your last name and year and check them in at the office as soon as possible.
Checks - Parents, please remember to write separate checks for hot lunch and tuition. Hot lunch forms must include payment when turned in. Tuition is due by the 10th of the month and may be dropped off in the wooden locked box in the office. When you write a check, please remember to write on the memo line what the check is for.
One Call texts - If you would like to receive your One Call messages as a text, please text the work Alert to the number 22300.
Parent Jobs - If you have not signed up yet for your parent jobs, please do so soon.
Teacher Grading Procedure - Each teacher should be sending home their grading procedure this week that may include additional supplies needed for their class as well as classroom expectations. Please be asking your child if they have received theirs and look them over closely. If you have any questions, please contact the teacher immediately to get them resolved.
Soccer Senior Night - Friday, September 16th against KC East - Senior recognition will be at 4:45 and the game will begin at 5:00 - Plan to come and cheer loudly for your Applewood Mustangs!!
Spirit Day - In honor of our soccer senior night, we will have a spirit day on Friday, September 16th
See you at the pole - Wednesday, September 28th - parents are welcome to attend - we will meet on the pavement on the west side of the sanctuary during opening
Old yearbooks for sale - We have some old yearbooks for sale in the office. If you are interested, please let us know. We would love to find good homes for each and every one. We are selling them for $5.00 each.
