Verse of the day: I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18
The varsity basketball teams competed last weekend in a tournament in St. Louis. Both teams faced some tough competition and represented Applewood well. I am pleased to report that Stephen Desmond and Brittany Collier both were awarded medals for outstanding Christian character. Connor Magras and Aleea Magras were both awarded medals for All Tournament. Aleea Magras also won the ladies three point shootout. The last junior high home game is Thursday, February 25 @ 6:00. Plan to come and cheer them on as they finish their season. Congratulations Mustangs! You make us proud!!

Volleyball Camp - We are hosting a volleyball camp for girls in grades 5 - 11 interested in learning about or playing volleyball. Drama Auditions - Pride and Prejudice is this year's theatrical production. We had a great turn out for auditions on Wednesday, with two new home school families coming on board. This year we do not have a production class so we will need to do many of the behind the scenes and pre-production jobs on our own time. For those who have signed up as a Parent Job to help with set build, costumes, make-up, promotion, house manager, etc. or if you are interested in helping, please contact Mrs. Leon at dharma.leon@yahoo.com or call or text her at (660) 473-2503. She will be contacting you with a production meeting time soon. Pray for our students as they begin the hard work of memorizing in a very formal English language as they begin rehearsals. - The final auditions are being held today in the Awana Room from 3:30 - 5:00 - Rehearsals will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school until 5:30 beginning Monday the 29th - Please contact Mrs. Leon with any questions
