Math Tutor - For those that have been asking for additional help in math, we have found an available math tutor. The highest level of math that she feels comfortable tutoring students would be Algebra I or Geometry. If interested, please contact Dixie Klement - (660) 473-6354.

Volleyball Scheduler - Thank you Tammy Price for accepting this position for the upcoming season, and also, a special 'thank you' to Lorna Sparks for filling this position for the past few years. We could not field a volleyball team without your sacrificial service.
Prayer Requests - Mrs. Furrey and I continue to meet at 10:30 on Wednesdays to pray together over our students, staff, school board, and needs of our families. We consider it an honor to pray for specific needs and concerns that you have. If you would like to share a prayer request or praise with us you may text or email either Mrs. Furrey or myself. If you have shared a prayer request with us and the Lord has answered that prayer, please be sure to let us know so we can rejoice along with you.
Report Card Inspector - Worth 2 parent points - Mrs. Breid has been filling this role for the past few years and is graduating both of her children this year. Report cards are checked following the end of each quarter. This person would be responsible for coming in and checking that each grade card is filled out completely and accurately. It would be best if someone would step up now to take this job for next year so they can shadow Mrs. Bried before she leaves. If interested, please contact the school office.
Mission Trip - The student council has decided to try to go to Utah and help a former Applewood graduate that is there working with the Mormon population. It would be a great opportunity, but your help is needed. If they are to go, we would need to begin fundraising and planning immediately. Please let me know if you'd be willing to help.
ACS Feast Day - November 25th - The deadline to sign up is November 13th. There is also a place for you to sign up to prepare potatoes and/or a turkey or to even consider purchasing a turkey for someone else to prepare. In addition to the meal, Mrs. Leon is once again helping our elementary students prepare a skit or musical piece to share. She is needing to know who is not planning to be here that day so she can plan accordingly. Please let her know as soon as possible.
