 Hello ACS!

This Tuesday is our technology seminar. I hope that each family will have a parent available to attend and that our students in junior high and high school will be present. It should prove to be very enlightening.

Please mark your calendars now for the ACS Drama Production! It is April 25-26. Several of our students in grades 4th-12th are busily working now on the production. It is a 1920’s musical entitled Charleston. With 34 students involved, it is our largest cast ever!

The Dark Side of Technology Seminar: – Tues., Mar 25, 6:30 pm, Sanctuary - We will be showing The Dark Side of Technology DVD and hosting a conference call for questions with the author, Brad Huddleston. You can research his material further at www.bradhuddleston.com. We highly recommend this informative seminar for all parents and for students, 5th grade and up.

High School Plan Night: Tuesday, Apr 8, 6:30 pm – This is a very important night for all students and parents in grades 8-11. We spend time discussing your high school career at ACS and making decisions specific to your grade level. Attendance is vital! Please plan now to attend!

Cognitive Testing: Thursday, Apr 10 – Grades 3, 7, 9 – This will be in the morning only. Students will have a lightened homework day. They will be receiving more information closer to the date.

Grades 2-8 will be all 3 days. Grades 9-11 will be only Monday and Tuesday. Grade K-1 will not be at school this week as they do their testing during their normal school day the week before. We will be sending home more information as the week gets closer.
