Hello ACS,
Congratulations to our Junior Varsity volleyball team for a great job at their tournament! They took 1st place in the tournament! Great job, girls!! Also, don’t forget tonight is Senior Recognition night for our soccer and volleyball players. Come on out and support our seniors and our teams!
Finally, we will have another Spirit Day Friday, October 15, in support of our Varsity Volleyball tournament. There is a change of location for this tournament. It will be Saturday, October 16, at the Smith-Cotton junior high school gym (the old high school).
Student Council:
It’s time for the SSLC food drive. Saturday, October 23, please meet at 4205 Green Circle in Country Club Estates at 10 am to hand out fliers. On Wednesday, October 27, the food drive starts at 4 pm. You will pick up food in Country Club Estates first; then work in shifts at Open Door taking in food until 8 pm. Please sign up at the next StuCo meeting on Wednesday, October 20.
StuCo Hayride – October 15 – Student Council members and their families will be having a hayride at the Rieckhoff’s home. Please bring hot dogs and buns, s’mores, and a dish to share.
StuCo Lock-In – November 12 – For grades 9-12. Parents needed to chaperone. Details TBA.
Fundraiser Dinner:
Don’t forget -- Saturday, Nov. 6. We are still in need of someone who would be willing to be in charge of cooking for this event. If you are interested, please call Cindy Rieckhoff at 660-525-2106, ASAP.
