Merry Christmas ACS Family!
I hope that everyone had a restful and memorable Christmas vacation. This year, more than ever, I was keenly aware of the importance of family during the holidays. My husband Scott worked during Christmas so my daughters and I left on Christmas day to drive two days to Tampa, Florida to be with my son, Ben, and his wife who are stationed at McDill Air Force Base. Along the way we were able to see my brother and his family in Atlanta, Georgia; pick up Scott; and see my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and their families in northern Florida. We stayed three days, dropped Scott off at the nearest airport, and drove another two days to get home. It was freezing in Florida, and though we did not get the tan we were hoping for, we all felt that nothing was as important as the time we spent together.
I pray that you and your family appreciated the time spent with family and friends during this holiday season.
With a thankful heart,
Mrs. Young
