Dear ACS Families,
There are a ton of announcements this week. Please be sure to read them all. Congratulations to the Lady Mustangs! The junior varsity team earned second place and the junior high team earned third place in the Applewood Junior Varsity Invitational Tournament this past Saturday. Great job ladies!

Announcements
Free to anyone who can use them – Two HP 97 (color) & one HP 94 (black) ink cartridges.
Sports Senior Recognition night this Friday Oct. 9th. Come on out for a great night of sports! Begin the evening by watching the soccer team play Heritage Academy at 4:30 at Paul Klover field. The JV volleyball team plays at 5:30 and the varsity volleyball team plays Heritage at 6:30. Cheer on the seniors and their parents as they are recognized for their efforts. If you haven’t been to a Mustang game, this is the night!
Condiments for students’ lunch – Ranch dressing, ketchup, mustard, etc. students need to bring them from home for lunch on Monday & Friday.
High School Field Trip November 10th to the National Churchill Museum. Permission slips went home on Friday. Please turn them in by October 23rd
Career Day (Grades 10 & 11) on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Parents, please review the packet with your students and fill out all forms & schedule by Tuesday. This is a mandatory event. Questions, call Mrs. Young.
SFCC College Night – Monday, Oct. 5 in the gym from 5 – 6:30pm.
ACS College & Career – Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8pm in the sanctuary. High School students not able to attend need to bring a note from parents to the office.
Fund Raising Dinner tickets will be sent home Wednesday. A letter giving details about the dinner will be attached.
High school students that want to attend the ASCI College Preparatory Championships at SBU need to sign up and pay their $12 by Wednesday, Oct. 7th. Questions, call Mrs. Church 829-1199.
Home room mom meeting – This Wednesday at 2:45 on the stage in the ROC.
Summer reading party (for students in grades 6 – 12 who read 5 books) will be held next Saturday Oct. 10 at the Allcorn’s home. Instead of swimming, students will be riding horses and playing games. A note with complete details will go home with the students on Monday. Ice cream party (for grades 1 – 5) who completed the summer reading program will be held next Friday, Oct. 9.

Gratitude
Thanks to Mrs. Paul for all she does to prepare the literature students for college. Due to all the hard work Rhiannon Crosier did her senior year for Mrs. Paul, she scored 100% on her first college literature exam.
Praise to God for Landon Jonah Allee born Oct. 1 at 11:57 am at 8 lbs. 14 oz to Brooke (Ogle) and Adam Allee.
