Wek of November 24 - 26

Announcements:

Congratulations to Melissa Backe and Ashton Allcorn who came in first and sixth respectively in the English (grammar) category at the Southwest Baptist University academic competition on Friday!  ACS was one of 10 Christian schools competing that day.  Great going girls!

Friday the December hot lunch sheet went home.  It was also sent via email to all the families.  Please have your sheet and payment into the office by the morning of Dec. 3rd.

Mrs. Leon feels the cast of Tom Sawyer needs another long dress rehearsal.  She would like to know which day is best for the families:   after the Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 26th until approx. 3:00 pm.  OR    Thursday, December 4th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  Please contact the office via telephone or email to give your preference.

Thanksgiving Feast this Thursday.  School day starts at 8:00am as normal.  The students will have a fun day of cooking, decorating, and games!  Family and friends are expected to arrive at 11:30 for the start of the program.  Lunch will be served at noon.  Students will be dismissed after the tables and chairs have been returned to their rooms.  No school on Friday.

Homeroom moms – don’t forget to be at school at 8:00am as well.  You are responsible for a craft or game for your grade.  Siblings are always welcome.
