Hello ACS Parents,
The fund raising dinner is this Saturday! I want to thank all those who have been diligently doing their best to invite 6 guests. Monday morning we will make our last count of people for food. Please send in any new names you have for your table today to Mrs. Gear (jameslgeariii@sbcglobal.net) or to the office (acsmustangs@charter.net). Mrs. Gear and I will be moving around ACS families and teachers to fill in tables that did not have 8 on them. A list of who is on your table and detailed instructions of your responsibilities for that night will be given to you at the Parent – Teacher conference.
Families that are unable to attend the fund raising dinner will be given a couple other options for supporting the school.
High school students, please let me know by tomorrow whether or not you will be able to help serve at the dinner. You will need to dress in black or blue slacks (Dockers) and a white polo or button down shirt. Please make sure you are at the school by 5:00 for set up.
There has been some question about child care. We do not have any space or people to run a child care. Students grades 6-8 will be in the program that evening and once their performance is done, they will go to the AWANA room to watch a movie and eat pizza. Our high school students will be busy serving and parents are busy hosting tables. Please be sure your guests have set up their own child care or have everyone on your table bring their children to your house to share a babysitter.
Please be in prayer that this event will be successful in supporting our school for its future. As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call the office.
In Prayer for Our School,
Mrs. Young
