Hello ACS Families,
The fund raising dinner is just around the corner! I hope everyone has been doing their best to invite 6 guests to come and see what Applewood is all about, to hear about the importance of Christian Education from our guest speaker Damian Ahrens, principal of Tri City Christian School in Independence Missouri, and to find out how they can partner with us financially. Families that are interested in Christian Education for their children; individuals who are looking to partner financially with us in doing God’s work; and leaders in the community who need to know more about what our school is all about are the type of guests that you should be inviting. We would like each family’s guests list to be turned in tomorrow (Wednesday at the latest), so that we know where we stand with decorating and catering. Also, please be praying for this event and its success.
Parent – Teacher conferences will be held next Monday evening at 6:00pm in the ROC. We hope that all parents plan to attend. Upon entering the ROC, parents will be given their student’s report card and a list of their teachers and classes. All the teachers will be set up at tables around the gym floor. Across from each teacher, will be 2 parent chairs set up, as you see these chairs become available, have a seat and visit with that teacher. The teachers will be prepared to tell you how your student is doing in class academically and behaviorally. When you have visited with each of your child’s teachers, you are done! We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to get to know your child’s teachers a little better.
In Prayer for Our School,
Mrs. Young
