Dear ACS Families,
I can’t believe that this is the week of our big fund raising dinner. To be honest, Debbie Marsh and I will be thrilled to have it over. It has been a lot of work for us and for all of you. I pray that the fruits of our labor open up many doors of opportunity for our school. It is also my hope that each year we can do one large fund raiser instead of ten little ones to raise the money we need. Continue to pray for the success of this event.
Parents, please be at the ROC no later than 5:30 to set your table and be available to greet your guests as they arrive.
High schoolers your class on serving will be Wednesday during Bible class. Mrs. Christopherson will be running it. You will need to be at the event by 5:00. Your uniform for the evening is black or blue slacks and a white shirt. Wear comfortable shoes, you will spend the night on your feet.
Grades 6 – 8, you will need to be there by 5:30 to get dressed. After the performance, we will have pizza and drinks for you in the AWANA room. The Wassams will be watching the students.
Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 12 at 6:00pm in the ROC. Parents will check in at the door to pick up your child’s report card. The report card has their teachers listed beside the course title. The teachers will be sitting at tables in alphabetical order around the gym. They each have two seats located at their table. The conferences work at a first-come-first-served basis. Watch your student’s teachers. When you see that the seats are empty – jump into them! Please make a point of seeing each of your child’s teachers. It helps to work with someone that you can put a face to. We ask that students NOT accompany parents to the conferences. If you need child care, older students will be available in the AWANA room to watch them.
Teachers: Be sure to have your 3 X 5 cards ready. Feel free to use one card for a student you have more than once. Please turn in any cards to me at the end of the evening. The Family Club will have dinner available for us around 5:00 if you want to hang out after school and get work done.
Student Council (Stucco) Meeting – Wednesday after school in the youth room.

The event will start at 11:30 with some performances and dinner will be served at noon. Students do their clean up chores immediately following the dinner and then are dismissed for Thanksgiving break.
