    Hello! Thanks for all your work!

    I have received many pictures i will be uploading...I will try to put them in the right categories...most may go into the student activities. I contacted memory book and retrieved the ad pages from last year they should be under My 2019 images. So they can be arranged...placed into the empty ad pages for this year. Mrs. Sumner did contact me and she is wanting to use something new for this year so just skip the Sumner Insurance ad for now.

    April 24- Read pp. 146 "In the Bleak Midwinter" Take notes, 1 vocab, Think it Through 1-3

    April 27- Read pp. " A Bed in My Heart " Take notes, Think It Through #1

    April 29-May 1 Creative writing... Include Introduction, 3-4 paragraphs (yes, at least 3 paragraphs) use complete sentences and complete well thought out ideas, end with a conclusion/summary.

     Fast Forward ...you are all well out of high school and you are asked by the Applewood Administration to come back and share about your experience at Applewood. What would you share?

     ( ideas) If asked specifically about your 7th grade year, how would you explain or relate the events? How did your experience at Applewood prepare you for what came next? How was your graduation? What was favorite memory? What class or program was your favorite? (remember we have "fast forward" so if you want to add something a program or class you can and walk us through how it impacted you and/others.) Be Creative!

  • 7th Grade Math Homework April 20- May 1

    I have decided to continue on in the assignments, I will not be posting a chapter test. As we all know in our assignments we have continuous review of our previous lessons. To compensate for test credit I will designate problems in assigned work that will be for test credit. 

    I am not requiring photos of completed assignments. Please be sure to include ALL assignments in your folder for our last Turn in Day. Please be aware of the assignments, I went through each and chose specific problems. 

    April 20-Lesson 60 pp. 404-409 Practice set ( a-h) Problem Set (1-10) And FOR TEST CREDIT POINTS (12-27)

    April 22- Investigation 6 pp. 410-411 (1-30) We did not complete lesson 58 which included the definition of a "line of symmetry". A line of symmetry is a line (or lines) in a two dimensional object which divides the object in halves, creating mirror images. Can refer to pg. 389 for an example. 

     Problem # 24 will be for TEST CREDIT

     

     April 24- Lesson 61 pp.416-424, this lesson begins with two activities we would have completed in class to better demonstrate the concept. I am assigning these two activities...for TEST CREDIT (10 pts), Problem set (a- j) Problem set (10-12)

    April 27-  Lesson 62 pp.425-431. Practice set (a-h) Problem set (12-19)

    April 29 AND May 1- Lesson 63 pp.432-437. Practice set (a- d)  Problem Set 1-30 * omit # 13, problems 20-30 TEST CREDIT.

  • 6th Grade Homework April 20-May 1

    I have decided, I will not be requiring the chapter 9 test. I am having you complete the Test Prep, which is a cumulative review of the material, for test credit. The book may be used. 

     Please remember to include ALL assignments in folder for last "Turn in Day".

    I am Not requiring photos of assignments upon completion, be sure to include in folder for credit. 

    April 20-  pp. 208-210 Test Prep Chapter 9 (1-25)

    April 22- Lesson 88 pp. 214-215 (1-22)

    April 24- Lesson 89 pp. 216-217 (1-21)

     April 27- Lesson 90 pp. 218-219 (1-30 ODD Only)

    April 29- Lesson 91 pp.220-221 (1- 12) AND (19-26)

    No Assignment for May 1...this would take us into multiplication of equations for only one lesson.

    Hey Ya'll! It is looking great! Went through today to see what we need to focus on...I am sending Mrs. Furry a list of pics we need.

    The very first page... are you guys still doing "notes" ?

    I will be asking for candids  from anyone and all grades to help fill pages.

  • Reading Homework 7th & 8th Grade For April 15 & April 17

    Reading assignments will continue as set by Admin. I will post the remainder of the assignments for the year on Monday April 20.

    Read "Antelop!" pp.135-139 Take your notes...( 6 vocab) Think it Through ( 1-4)

    Read " Jinkyswoitmaya" pp 140-143 Take your notes...(1 vocab) Think it Through 91-3)

    I was so pleased with all the effort and work completed from your past assignments! Great job! It is just not "easy" to return all the notes you all have completed in order to have them to take the test...therefore the test over this unit will be open book. Remember to again, include all assignments in your folders for the final "Turn In Day".

  • 6th Grade Math Assignments for April 15 & April 17

    Math will follow schedule set by Admin. I will post the complete schedule of assignments for the remainder of the year on Monday April 20.

    I will be sending parents a list of questions missed on the last chapter test. Please go back to the test in the blog and do the ones missed over again and submit. I will give half a point for each one correct. Please include this in the folder for turn in day. It was test over chapter 8.

    We will be completing the Chapter review for Chapter 9, the test Prep and then taking the test over Chapter 9. I will allow use of the book for help recalling the lessons. Please take your time and work through each problem. 

    Chapter 9 Review pp. 206-207 1-43 All.

  • Homework Week of April 6-8

    This will include all assignments for these few days. Most classes just finished with test over chapters...I don't want to go to far into things and then have the break. Miss you all, thank you for all your work!

    Reading- Write a "creative writing" about this time at home. Include an introduction, 2-3 paragraphs in your body, and a conclusion. Can be about your personal experience, what's going on in our world globally, what you see in the natural or how you see God working.

    Work on pages...make sure we have names under team photos and class individual photos...Need photo for the Jr. Course Select student ( someone reach out to her), as the The Seniors...be working on your paragraphs, letters, quotes...
